Players can register for the first beta version of PS5 system software today
There is a new major system update for PS5 on the horizon, and Sony has decided to give the owners of PS5 the opportunity to help it test it. From today, you can now register at the very first beta program of the PS5 software. The program is open to anyone over 18 and located in the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany and France. If you decide to participate, you will have the opportunity to help test new features and make your voice heard when you provide comments to developers. Of course, registration does not guarantee that you will be selected, but you will certainly not choose if you do not register.
Selected participants will receive an e-mail that contains instructions on how to download the beta version of the updated system software. To qualify you, you will need a PS5 — obviously — with both an Internet connection and a PlayStation Network account. If all this seems a little embarrassing and boring, do not worry, you will not have to start again. If you register for this beta, you will automatically be added to the selection pool for other beta versions of the PS5 system software in the future. And if you are not sure that you leave your PS5 with the updated system software, you can reset your device to the latest official once the beta period is complete.
The last major update of the PS5 system in April has introduced a plethora of new features, including the extended USB storage, the game shared between generations, an enhanced gaming base and a lot of other improvements in the user interface and features. Social, and although we do not know exactly what is contained in this update, we are sure that it will continue in the same vein. It’s now your chance to discover everything the PS5 is able to do early. Do not miss.
